Mailgun integration: API key auth, mailing lists

Mailgun uses API-key authentication. Mailgun is primarily a transactional email service, so the integration focuses on Mailing Lists (their grouped recipient feature).

Where to find your Mailgun API key

1. Sign into Mailgun.
2. Open Sending → API Security (or via Settings → API Keys).
3. Copy your Private API Key (starts with key- for older accounts, or a longer string for newer ones).

Connecting Mailgun

1. Bulk Upload → Connect Email Platform → Mailgun.
2. Paste the API key.
3. If your Mailgun account is in the EU region, specify that when prompted.
4. Save Connection.

What you can verify

Mailgun Mailing Lists. Note: this is a different feature from transactional sends — make sure your contacts are organized into Mailing Lists in Mailgun before connecting.
