How do I select a specific Moosend list to verify?

Last updated May 20, 2026Integrations

Moosend organizes recipients into Mailing Lists. Valid Email Checker reads your Moosend Mailing Lists via their API and surfaces them in the standard searchable picker. Credential setup is covered in the Moosend integration guide.

Opening the picker

  1. Open Integrations in the VEC sidebar.
  2. Find the Moosend row in Connected Integrations.
  3. Click the three-dot menu and pick Sync Now.
  4. A modal opens with the Moosend logo, the connection name, and the list picker.
  5. Pick exactly one Mailing List using the radio button.

What appears in the picker

  • Mailing Lists — every Moosend Mailing List your API key can read.
  • Subscriber counts — pulled live from Moosend for each list.
  • Search field — filters by name in real time.

Moosend segments (filter-defined subsets) are not exposed as standalone selectable rows in the picker. If you want to verify a segment, build a static Mailing List from that segment in Moosend first, then verify the list.

Sizing the cost

The credits-needed line at the bottom of the modal uses the Moosend subscriber count. Duplicate removal (on by default) lowers the actual spend. Unknown-status results refund automatically after verification.

Build a "recent additions" list
For ongoing hygiene, maintain a Moosend Mailing List populated with subscribers added in the last 30 days and verify just that list each month. Cheaper and more targeted than full-account re-checks. Pair with the action defaults in the action-options FAQ.

Refreshing list data

Click the refresh icon at the top of the modal. VEC re-queries Moosend's API and updates subscriber counts in place. Use after creating new Mailing Lists or running large imports.

After picking the list

Choose Verify Only (default — Moosend untouched) or Clean List Automatically below the picker. Hit Import List, and you are redirected to Uploads & Results to watch progress.

Troubleshooting

  • Mailing List missing — your Moosend API key may lack the right scope. Regenerate at Account → API Key.
  • Empty picker — the Moosend account has no Mailing Lists yet.
  • Subscriber count zero — the list exists but has no active subscribers. VEC blocks Import on zero-count lists.
