How do I select a specific MailerLite list to verify?
MailerLite calls their lists Groups (manually curated) and Segments (filter-defined). Valid Email Checker reads both shapes through the MailerLite API and surfaces them in a single searchable picker. API key setup lives in the MailerLite integration guide.
Opening the picker
- Open Integrations in the VEC sidebar.
- Find the MailerLite row in Connected Integrations.
- Click the three-dot menu and pick Sync Now.
- A modal opens with the MailerLite logo, the connection name, and the list picker.
- Pick exactly one row.
What appears in the picker
- Groups — manually curated subscriber lists in MailerLite.
- Segments — filter-defined dynamic groups.
- Subscriber counts — pulled live from MailerLite, showing active subscribers per group/segment.
- Search field — filters by name in real time.
MailerLite automations and forms are not selectable in the list picker. If you want to verify subscribers tied to a specific form, build a Group whose membership is defined by that form-source and verify the Group instead.
Sizing the cost
The credits-needed line at the bottom of the modal uses the MailerLite subscriber count. Duplicate removal (on by default) reduces the actual spend. Unknown-status results refund automatically. A 30,000-subscriber Group typically costs 27,000-29,000 credits in practice.
Refreshing list data
Click the circular refresh icon at the top of the modal. VEC re-queries the MailerLite API and updates subscriber counts in place. Useful after creating new Groups or editing segment filters.
After picking the list
Below the picker, choose Verify Only (default — MailerLite untouched) or Clean List Automatically. Verify Only is the recommended starting point. Hit Import List, and you are redirected to Uploads & Results to watch progress.
Troubleshooting
- Group missing from picker — your MailerLite API key may not have read access. Regenerate at Integrations → MailerLite API.
- Empty picker — the MailerLite account has no Groups or Segments yet, or the key cannot read any of them.
- Subscriber count zero — the Group exists but has no active subscribers. VEC blocks Import on zero-count groups.
