Do you store the emails I verify?
Verification results are stored in your account so you can review history, export past runs, and audit who ran what. Your uploaded lists are automatically deleted from our systems after 15 days. We never send mail to your contacts, and we never share, sell, or repurpose your data.
What gets stored, and for how long
- Your uploaded email lists — automatically deleted after 15 days
- Verification results (the per-address status, score, and flags) — kept in your account so you can review and export. Removable manually if you want them gone earlier.
- Aggregate counts and credit history — kept for billing reconciliation
- Which team member ran which verification — kept for audit trail
We do not store the contents of any emails (you did not give us any — verification is just an address check). We do not store names, signup metadata, or any other context unless you specifically uploaded it as part of a bulk file, in which case the extra columns are returned alongside results and otherwise not used.
What we never do
- We never send mail from your verified addresses. Verification is SMTP handshakes and DNS lookups only. Your contacts never receive any test message.
- We never share addresses across accounts. Your addresses are scoped to your account only.
- We never sell, rent, or trade data to third parties.
- We never enrich, repurpose, or build profiles on the addresses you verify.
- We never use your verified addresses for marketing of any kind.
Compliance
We process data in line with GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and the broader privacy frameworks customers tend to ask about. We are a data processor for the addresses you submit; you are the data controller for the contacts those addresses represent. Standard data-processing agreement (DPA) is available on request — email support@validemailchecker.com if your legal team needs one signed.
