How do I select a specific Drip list to verify?

Last updated May 20, 2026Integrations

Drip is an e-commerce-focused marketing platform with subscribers grouped by tags, custom fields, and event-defined segments. Valid Email Checker reads the subscriber-facing API endpoints and presents tagged subscriber groups in the list picker. Credential setup, including the required Account ID, lives in the Drip integration guide.

Opening the picker

  1. Open Integrations from the VEC sidebar.
  2. Find your Drip connection row in Connected Integrations.
  3. Click the three-dot menu and pick Sync Now.
  4. A modal opens showing the Drip logo, your connection name, and a refresh icon.
  5. Use the radio buttons to pick exactly one row.

What appears in the picker

  • All subscribers — your full Drip subscriber base under the connected Account ID.
  • Tagged groups — subscribers with a specific Drip tag.
  • Subscriber counts — read live from the Drip API.
  • Search field — filters by tag or list name in real time.

Drip campaigns and workflows are not selectable as standalone list types. If you want to verify subscribers currently in a workflow, build a Drip tag from that workflow first.

Account ID matters

Drip scopes every API call to a specific Account ID. If you manage multiple Drip accounts (one per brand, one per store), each account needs its own VEC connection. The picker only shows subscribers and tags under the Account ID you connected. Switching brands means going back to the Integrations page and picking the right connection card.

E-commerce hygiene cadence
For Drip accounts attached to a Shopify or BigCommerce store, build a tag for recent buyers (last 90 days) and verify just that tag monthly. Re-checking long-stable customers wastes credits. Pair with the action-options FAQ for category defaults.

Refreshing list data

Click the refresh icon to force a re-query of the Drip API. Use after creating new tags or after large imports. Drip is reasonably responsive on writes, so refreshed counts usually reflect the latest state within seconds.

After picking the group

Choose Verify Only (default — Drip untouched) or Clean List Automatically. Verify Only is recommended for the first run on any new tag. Clean List Automatically applies the per-category action settings to Drip subscribers in the selected group.

Troubleshooting

  • Tag missing from picker — your Drip API token may lack read scope on the tag. Regenerate at Settings → User Settings → API Tokens with full read access.
  • Wrong account showing — make sure the Account ID matches the brand you intend to verify.
  • Subscriber count zero — the tag exists but has no current members. VEC blocks the Import button to save you a wasted call.
